The Center for Jewish History

The Center for Jewish History is one of the great public Jewish historicaland cultural institutions in the world, and its mission is clear: Tofoster the creation and dissemination of Jewish knowledge and to makethe historical and cultural record of the Jewish people readilyaccessible to scholars, students and the broad public.

The Center embodies a unique partnership of five major institutions of Jewish scholarship, history, and art: the American Jewish Historical Society, the American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, the Yeshiva University Museum, and the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.
