Green Fashion History at The Museum at FIT

The Museum at FIT currently has an exhibit in their Fashion & Textile History Gallery entitled Eco-Fashion: Going Green. In today's world, being eco-friendly and environmentally aware is something we all think about, and it's interesting to look at the history of the fashion industry with this in mind. As the museum's website says, the exhibit examines "the past two centuries of fashion's good - and bad - environmental and ethical practices," providing "historical context for today's eco-fashion movement." For more information, check out the museum's site, and plan a visit to this fascinating exhibit, running now through November 13.
