The Equus Projects seeks part-time General Manager
THE EQUUS PROJECTS seeks an experienced arts administrator who has is interested in creative marketing, innovative fundraising and project development and management.
For 30 hours per week, the General Manager is responsible for the following:
Maintaining fundraising research
Drafting fundraising proposals
Coordinating meetings with Board of Directors
Updating marketing materials
Maintaining communications with presenters, funders and collaborators
Overseeing production aspects during performances
Knowledge of the NYC dance community; Strong writing skills and computer abilities; Communication skills and ability to develop and maintain diversity of professional relationships; Some knowledge of managing a touring company; Ability to think creatively about arts promotion; Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities; Optional but useful knowledge of equestrian world.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
